Why is my API key not working?

A few reasons why your API key is not working:

1. It doesn’t support GPT-4, yet you’ve opted to use GPT-4.

To use GPT-4, please make sure your key supports GPT-4.

Go here: https://platform.openai.com/playground?mode=chat, and look for GPT-4 under the “Model” dropdown. If it isn’t there, your key doesn’t support it.

2. Your rate limit is not enough.

If your OpenAI API key is newly created or has no payment method attached, your key may not have high enough rate limit to run Longform AI. Check your rate limit here: https://platform.openai.com/account/limits
