How do I publish directly to WordPress?

Watch this video or follow these steps to publish your content directly to WordPress:

Log in to your WordPress account on your website.
Go to the Profile tab.

Scroll down to the Application Passwords section. (Note: If you do not see this section, you probably use Word Fence and have disabled this feature. To enable it, head over to Wordfence > All Options > Uncheck Disable WordPress application passwords > Save)

Enter a descriptive name in the New Application Password Name field. This field is for internal use only and helps you recognize what the application password is connected to. For example, you can use "SurgeGraph".
Click on Add New Application Password.
You will be shown a combination of numbers and letters. Important: Save this password in a safe location, as you will not be able to retrieve it once you exit this page. You will use the same password every time you want to export your content to WordPress.

On SurgeGraph, head over to the Publish tab.

Click on the WordPress button.

Fill in your Site URL, Username used to login to your WordPress account, and the Application Password you saved from Step 6. Then, hit Enter.

Note:

Make sure your username is the same username used to login to WordPress
Make sure there is no trailing slash in the URL (eg. https://website.com/)
Make sure your WordPress Site URL is accurate. For example, if your WordPress domain configuration includes a "www" at the front, please make sure to include it when exporting.

Once exported, you will see a message at the bottom of the page that says "Post successfully exported to WordPress".

Note 1: To export other content on WordPress, repeat steps 7-8. If you lost your WordPress Application Password, you would have to repeat the whole process.

Note 2: After exporting your content to WordPress for the first time, your credentials are autosaved and will preload the next time you need to export to WordPress. Your credentials are also encrypted for maximum security.
