How SurgeGraph credits work?
SurgeGraph uses a credit-based system for its Vertex plans. This guide explains what is included in your plan and how credits work.
What’s included in your subscription?
When you subscribe to any SurgeGraph Vertex plan, you receive the following monthly usage:
- 30 writing credits/month
- 150 monitoring credits/month
- 20 topic discovery projects/month
- Unlimited author synthesis
If you connect your own API key (additional charges apply to your key), you’ll receive:
- 2,000 additional articles/month
- 9,000 additional monitoring credits/month
- 30 knowledge libraries/month
For details on free credits and the BYOK (bring your own key) system, refer to this article
Do credits expire?
All credits are refreshed automatically on the first day of each month. Any unused credits from your plan do not roll over, so it’s important to use them before the monthly reset.
Vertex offers two types of writing credits:
- Free writing credits (included in your plan; refresh monthly, do not roll over)
- Paid additional credits (purchased in-app; do not expire and will roll over)
Purchased writing credits do not expire and will continue to roll over until fully used.
How writing credits are used?
Credit usage depends on the LLM model that you choose and type of task.
