How to choose a Knowledge library in Vertex Writer/Flex

When you use Knowledge in writing, the AI will automatically select and filter the most relevant information from your libraries.

There are two ways to choose a library when you enable Knowledge. One is Auto Select, and the other is Manual Selection, where you choose the specific library you want to use.

Here’s the difference between the two options:

• Auto Select Library is ideal when you want SurgeGraph to pull in the most relevant sources from all your libraries.
• Manual selection is best when you have a very focused topic and want to ensure the AI draws mainly from one particular knowledge library.

You can choose the option that best fits your use case.

Example:

If you have separate libraries for different clients in the same industry, it’s better to choose a specific library instead of Auto Select. This ensures the AI won’t include information from other clients’ libraries.
